A city that never slows down
New Delhi moves fast and pulls you right along with it. Humayun's Tomb blew me away - way more impressive than I imagined. Street food scene is incredible, and getting around by metro is super easy and cheap. Great city trip overall.
History around every corner
Qutub Minar is genuinely stunning. Standing next to something that old just hits differently. The whole area around it is well kept and easy to walk. Picked up some great handicrafts nearby too. Delhi rewards the curious traveler for sure.
So much to see and eat here
Spent time in Lodi Colony and loved the mix of green spaces and street art. The food everywhere is just brilliant - butter chicken, chaat, lassi, you name it. Delhi keeps surprising you no matter which direction you walk. Really enjoyable trip.
Didn't want to leave
The Red Fort is massive and genuinely impressive up close. Markets nearby are full of energy and great for picking up spices and textiles. People were warm and eager to help. Delhi has a pace to it that just sucks you in. Really glad we went.
Perfect winter city break
Winter is honestly the ideal time to visit. Cool enough to walk all day comfortably. India Gate looks stunning in the evening light. The local food in Connaught Place is so good and affordable. Friendly city, great to explore on foot.
